Bespoke framing

More choice. More possibilities.

Bespoke framing starts with the artwork. The frame, mounting, glazing and finish are chosen around the individual piece.

That might mean a simple oak frame and a well proportioned mount, or something more individual, such as a painted or stained finish, a particular mount colour, a hand finished detail or a deeper frame for an object.

How the artwork is mounted matters too. A delicate work on paper may need lightweight conservation hinges, while other pieces cannot be mounted with adhesives and need a different approach. The method depends on the artwork and what is appropriate for its long term care.

Sometimes the right answer is very simple. Sometimes it takes a little more thought.

The aim is the same: a frame that works with the artwork and feels like it belongs there.
