Original works, limited-edition prints, valuable or delicate works may require specialist handling or conservation techniques. My bespoke service also includes a face-to-face consultation and a more collaborative approach to design — creating a frame specifically around your artwork, your space and your taste. How would you like the artwork presented?
The mounting style changes how much of the sheet is visible and how the artwork sits within the frame.
Window mount
A classic mount surrounds the image. The edges of the paper sit behind the mount.
Float mount
The complete sheet is visible, including any existing border.
Shadow float mount
The complete sheet is visible and raised slightly from the backing for added depth.
Close framed
The complete sheet is presented without a visible mount border.
Original works, limited-edition prints, valuable or delicate pieces — including older photographs, heavyweight or very thin papers — may require specialist hinging, mounting or conservation-grade boards. Choose your mount colour
Three versatile colours selected for the Essential range.
Warm White
A soft chalky white with a very subtle warmth.
Mid Grey
A balanced mid grey with a soft, neutral character.
Black
A strong graphic option for a more defined presentation.

Choose your frame
Essential uses a selected range of simple contemporary Ayous mouldings with pre-finished open-grain surfaces. Light Oak and Wenge are wood-effect finishes.

Photographs and colours are a guide. Finishes can appear different under different lighting conditions and on different screens.
Bespoke framing opens up a much wider choice of timbers including ash, oak, walnut, cherry, maple and beech, alongside painted and individually finished options and a broader choice of frame profiles — from simple contemporary forms to scoops and more decorative or ornate designs. Choose your spacer detail
A spacer creates separation between the artwork and glazing. The standard option is included, or you can introduce a narrow coloured detail.

Add a narrow line of colour between the artwork and frame.
Metallic and iridescent finishes change with the light. Photographs and screen colours are therefore a guide rather than an exact representation.
Choose your glass
Standard glass is included. Upgrade to ArtGlass AR70 for reduced reflections, improved clarity and approximately 70% UV protection.

Low-iron anti-reflective glass for noticeably clearer viewing, reduced reflections and approximately 70% UV protection.
Bespoke framing allows the glazing to be specified around the individual artwork, including higher-performance anti-reflective and UV-filtering options for original, valuable or conservation-sensitive pieces. Explore bespoke framing →

The frame specification is selected here online. Your appointment is a short visit to hand over the artwork, check the measurements and confirm the agreed specification.
The studio is appointment only. Please do not bring artwork without an appointment. I am unable to accept artwork sent by post, courier or other delivery service.
Your request will be reviewed before it is accepted. If the artwork requires specialist handling or the specification isn't suitable for the Essential range, I'll let you know and advise whether my Bespoke service would be more appropriate.
